09/18/2007 Archived Entry: "TRSI with Fibonacci, makes moving averages obsolete."

I've always used two - four moving averages on my charts to get a grip on the trend (I have multiple screens - four). Keeping in mind that I'm primarily an intra-day trader, I couldn't help but notice that the TRSI has made my EMAs obsolete. In fact, now that I'm using Fib retracements, the EMAs only seem to clutter up the chart. Besides the TRSI appears to turn sooner than the EMAs. Am I reading things right? ty Ty, Yes, you're on the right track. The TRSI will take up less real-estate, and generally give more reliable triggers and also trend. -Neal.
